As we near the end of National Hamburger Month, we report on burger trends.

  • Poblano #48%
  • Marmalade +40%
  • Truffles +36%
  • Habanero +32%
  • Horseradish +30%
  • Pickles +20%
    And for the burger itself:

  • Brisket +78%

For fun, we looked around and found The Aussie Burger, popular Down Under. It starts with a lamb burger, and adds:

  • Bibb Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Bacon
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Fried Egg (runny)
  • Pickled Beets
  • Grilled pineapple ring
    Here’s the recipe.
